Starting with hyper-local substrates and botanicals, sourced from sustainable, family owned farms, we implement a vertically integrated, and environmentally focused approach to distillation. Geri and I are very pleased, as well as humbled at the opportunity to give back. It is very important to us, and ingrained into our company culture to help others. We founded Ethanolo¿y on two simple principals: family and community. Integral to those principles is providing educational opportunities to bright and focused students. For us, it is paramount that we continually integrate fresh minds, perspectives and ideologies into Ethanolo¿y, while simultaneously providing experiential learning opportunities. This approach to human capital ensures the vitality and progression of the company, and ultimately the individual success of our Ethanol¿ist’s.
Given this, we have decided to partner with Michigan universities to offer two summer internships for annually. These internships will be paid, and available to all students. Although, we hope to attract the brightest students from the disciplines of chemistry, biology, engineering, hospitality, agriculture, art, design, business, finance, marketing and entrepreneurship. Our focus is to provide real-world experience through a multidisciplinary approach. Students will be exposed, and immersed in all facets of the distillery, however their educational interest will remain the focus of their internship.
Our goal is to provide a truly dynamic and value-added educational experience. We are only interested in hiring adept, driven and focused students, who are looking to work in a challenging and dynamic environment. Ethanolo¿y’s focus is to produce an exemplary spirit, within a singular environment. Imperative to that focus is the procurement of the brightest minds, the provision of education, information and direction necessary to be successful- both personally and professionally. Mediocracy is not found in our lexicon.
Geri and I only strive to help you reach your full potential. We will lean on you, push you and ultimately rely on you. You are the future of our company and our society.
